  • Ohio is not recruiting "illegal" immigrants. You can't compare Ohio and Alabama. Alabama welcomes "legal" immigrants as well. I heard this same story on NPR and couldn't believe the interviewer was interpreting this news as 'Ohio welcomes illegal immigrants'. Get a clue.

  • Why should it be on us to provide healthcare to people who sneak in our country illegally?  Ship them back and let their country take care of their needs.  Unfortunately, our country has enough trouble taking care of the people who do contribute and pay for their healthcare.

  • Seriously! Doesn't this lawmaker have more important issues to worry about?  This is the type of thing government shouldn't even be involved in.  Parents can choose not to buy without government intervention. What a waste of time and money.

  • Grandparents? She has a husband. He needs to make a few sacrifices to support her committment to her country. He needs to step up and do whatever it takes to take care of the kids while she is away.
